WOW!! I can not think of a time where as a customer I have been treated so badly!!!!!! Our group of 4 was treated like crap the whole time we were there!! They have a bar but don’t bother to sit there while you’re waiting for your table because you will be told “ IM MAKING DRINKS FOR MY TABLE YOU WILL HAVE TO WAIT” and wait we did. 6:45 reservations seated at 7:45 sat at the bar for 45 mins without being served 1 drink!! the staff and service are both top notch!i would recommend dressings on the side for the salads(mine had too much on it) and the steaks need to be cooked more to order(i ordered medium and it came out with some RED,not pink but red).i hope these suggestions are helpful because i really enjoy eating there!
I have been going to Oak Park for around 30 Years.I have never been disappointed wether lunch or Dinner...They have the best 1/2 pound burgers in town for Lunch and dinner favorite is land and sea pettie filet and fresh lake erie perch mmmmmm ....If you have never been this place is a must
Had another great dinner at Oak Park. We enjoy eating at the bar because its friendly and we can see the chef preparing our food. Its old and charming but the food is so much better than any national steakhouse or chain restaurant. the burgers are amazing but I really enjoy the seafood. Had fresh Oysters and scallops last night and my girlfriend ordered the Prime Rib. She loved it, but thats what she always gets!
New Favorite Place to Eat Had a really great evening with friends at Oak Park last Sunday! It was mine and my husbands first time there and we are going back very soon. The service was outstanding and extremely friendly! They had a good selection of beers and poured a good Manhattan. As far as dinner, my Ribeye steak was cooked to perfection and very tender. Our friends all had the perch and my husband had Scallops. Its a short drive from town but its really worth the trip.
We find Oak Park to be comfortable and friendly.I love the variety on the menu and specials. My husbands always has the perch and filet combination. The soups are homemade, with the french onion being the best anywhere. I had the pumpkin cheesecake last night and would say there's none better. And most important, the service has always been excellent.
wow! great experience Recently my parents took my wife and I to the Oak Park Tavern. I have a good idea what the bill was and for four people to eat, the quality,service and atmosphere were better then any five star restaraunt. The food was incredibly fresh. We absolutely loved it! thanks
Comfortable and charming with great food and service. We always leave full and happy. The Perch is the best ANYWHERE! And the french onion soup is amazing. Love to sit outside when its nice and enjoy a few beers.
Have dined at Oak Park many times and alway enjoy the great service and excellent steaks! It is cozy and comfortable inside with an old style charm. I really enjoy the Lake Erie Perch and French Onios soup. They have alot of side choices to go with the meals. I particularly like being able to order a fresh vegetable. The drinks are also excellent. I would suggest the long islands and margaritas.
