This was the first time in my history with Oakhill hospital, I walked in,was seen and taking straight in asap! The nurse was overly friendly and helpful, very nice young man. Hit my IV 1 st shot! Very impressed! Dr came in min's after, really listened to me! Sent me for a CT scan without waiting forever,got back to my room,nurse right in. Less than a half hour results!!! They were so busy that they were treating people in the waiting room. We were there with my 13 month old granddaughter who had an allergic reaction to shellfish. The gave her a dose of Benedryl and never checked back on her. Nurse's "claimed" they called her name, however, they kept calling the wrong name where there was another little girl there with THAT name. I get they were busy but how hard is it to actually get the name correct? Or to check on a 13 month old child in the waiting room.

I'm so thankful for a wonderful nurse named Melissa on CDU for helping me today.
The hospital overall has been good but I just witnessed one of the most unprofessional things I've seen in a while. A Dr. M. Rodwan Hiba, MD came into the pre-op area where I'm receiving IV therapy and was yelling at the nursing staff about an understaffed area. 1: you don't berate staff in front of patients who are about to be operated on and who are nervous anyway 2: he acted like he was God and could do not wrong, what a pompous ass. Very rude case manager and i just don't like the drs there i had a diabetic ulser in my big toe that was removed it did not heal right so it got infected i ended up in ICU code septic and this dr told me it was gout he put me on gout medicine after i told him it was not gout that it was the diabetic ulser

When they don't like what you say they block you so you can not warn others. So do not go there the kill people instead of help them then the cover their ass in their notes so that you can not sue them for it. Then florida makes laws to protect their ass and the rest of us suffer from their neglect and the families of those killed sit wondering why they get away with it.
