In and out!!! My son hit his head at school yesterday and had to have the wound stapled. The RN & ARNP were awesome with my son and I, took two seconds, my son left with a big smile!!

The nursing staff is great. The RN that is in the ER, Kerry is so very nice. And on 3rd floor mr James is very nice and carring as well. God bless them both.
I will not give 5 stars to a hospital that decided to release my son who was still on an IV for pain meds... who had a Pain Management person who literally insinuated that my son is a drug addict because he needs pain meds (he is a health conscious body builder) and a hospital who informed my son that they couldn't do any more for him because he is uninsured.... not acceptable

Everything went as scheduled. Very timely, great nurses!
This was the most usless time spent at a piss poor excuse of a hospital!! One P.A. ordered one thing then a bunch of blood work then another P.A. with NO bedside manners what so ever dc's the orders from previous P.A. then tries to give pain meds for the symptoms that pt. didnt even want no pain meds and wanted the antibiotics that were originally ordered!!! Needless to say finally thanks to the RN that took care of the pt. got the antibiotics and hopefully this issue can be fixed for the next time!!!

My mom has been a patient here numerous times without complaints. However on her last visit I was lied to by a case manager and was told that she didn't qualify for Health South because she broke her pelvis and femur and sent her to a nursing home!! I investigated and found some interesting reasons why she was sent to a nursing home rather than a rehabilitation hospital. I'm glad I was her advocate and swiftly had her transferred and admitted into Health South! Now I have confidence that she will be home with me again. Very ... read more
