History Established in 1996. In 1996, The Wildlands Conservancy saved southern California's largest historic apple ranch, Los Rios Rancho, from residential subdivision. The farm, surrounded by Oak Glen Preserve, is leased to third and fourth generation Oak Glen apple growers. Riley's Frontier Events continues the property's rich tradition of apple growing and historic entertainment.

Nice place to do some light hiking, with lots of vegetation identified as well. Some waterfowl in a couple ponds. Being fall, there was some nice colors in the trees (including on the drive to the place). Wasn’t expecting so much crowd...not so much on the trails but the whole area is groves and such and was quite busy.
Been to Oak Glen dozens of times before finding this place....it was absolutely beautiful! Loved the field of poppies, hummingbird bird garden area....and the hiking trail. Went with my 12 and 5 year old...next time, I'd only take my 12 year old on the hike..not a bad hike just a little too steep in some parts for the younger kids. Can't wait to go back!
Awesome place to relax and enjoy nature. Love being outside. This is my go to place. Dog friendly also. Amazing staff members on site if you need anything
Such a beautiful place to hike/walk amongst nature, me and my husband have been coming here for years, it's a wonderful place to get away from the city without really leaving! Remember to donate when you can it's totally worth it!
On a clear day, if you want to sweat at little and hike the foothills behind Redlands, there’s fine trail where once bears, mountain lions, and woodpeckers lived in peace. They call it “God’s Back Yard,” but I call it “Empty Nest.”
Beautiful in spring with flowers! Also went in winter and was quietly beautiful with frozen ponds.
We come here every time we're visiting Oak Glen! Wouldn't miss the experience of serenity & beauty!
this place really reconnected me with the beauty of nature
We went on a tour with our Girl Scout group #601 and I was so impressed with the rangers. They went over and beyond for our girls. Thank you guys for a great experience!!!!!
