Great experience! Learned more about the history of this plantation! Nick was friendly ! Everyone were willing to help! Thank you! — with Mike Robinson.
Great place to visit. Learned of a lot of history. Really enjoyed the tour of the big house and the grounds.
Wonderful place enriched with history!! Tour guide was amazing!!
Great experience. Ours hosts did a wonderful job explaining how this sugar cane plantation operated. Self sufficiently. They are doing their best to collect history on all the people who lived there. Sadly, slavery was a key element to the plantations success.
We loved the beautiful grounds, stately home, and had a knowledgeable tour guide. Lunch was delicious!
Beautiful place, well preserved and good food at the restaurant.
This is my favorite place in the us.
Can’t believe I finally got to see Oak Alley in person. The trees and landscape alone were worth the trip. Touring the slave quarters was sobering but we loved hearing about the strength and perseverance by so many who were enslaved there. This place is an amazing part of a visit to Louisiana. Hope to return someday.
I have been visiting Oak Alley with my sister and brother EVERY year since 2015. The grounds are beautiful ... so much history here. We have stayed overnight in one of the cabins the past 2 years. By staying in the cabin, it gives us the opportunity to take photos of this beautiful place early in the morning and and evenings while the plantation is closed to the public. A wonderful experience 💖
