The O-BAR-O Cabins, situated on the Florida River, has all of this and more. Located just outside Durango, we're a stone's throw from the national forest, two large lakes, and horse trail rides. Plus we have the best trout fishing you'll find in these parts.

RecommendedSuch a cute cabin. My boyfriend and I took our 7month old baby for a weekend getaway. The experience was amazing. Great service. Super clean. You could tell they deep clean the cabin before you arrive. I highly recommend.
My husband and I celebrated our 5th year anniversary at O-bar-O and enjoyed our stay immensely. Herb & Natalie are class A hosts and the Birdsbest cabin is so super cozy. The location is perfect for that remote feel, but the drive to Durango is only 20 mins. This is our second time to stay there and we defiantly plan on coming again.

yes we highly recommend it the owners and their daughter is absolutely friendly.. the cabin is very clean and beautiful it is amazing out here!
Me and my wife spent out first anniversary with o-bar-o. we will be back they where accommoding with adding on a package a week after we made the reservation. Also when I forgot to call them to make sure it was ok that we brought our trailer with the harley in It it wasn't a problem to find parking for the trailer we love this place.
We enjoy our annual trip to O-Bar-O more than words can say! Natalie, Herb and Pearl are the greatest hosts! Fly fishing on the river and listening to the wind in the trees makes for one relaxing vacation 😎
My family had the most relaxing time. The river lulled is to sleep and we enjoyed the company of “Mr. T and the Billy Goats!” (Great title for a band). In all seriousness, My family is thankful for the hospitality and beautiful surroundings of O-Bar-O!

Very cool laid back destination off the beaten path. Very nice cabins and so comfy. Very close to a river which is what we were looking for in a spur of the moment while traveling. Great owners. — at O-Bar-O Cabins.
My wife and I just spent 4 nights there recently. We were supposed to stay 3, but we loved it so much we canceled a trip to Taos to spend another day. Cozy cabins with great accommodations for our GSD. The soothing sound of the Florida river made the nights magical. Highly recommend staying there if you are visiting Durango.
