I just feel like all the negative reviews of the facilities are from people who haven’t spent a whole lot of time at different rinks. Smells and looks like every rink facility I’ve been too- not sure what they’re expecting. Public skate isn’t too crowded and pricing is reasonable with option to save money by paying for multiple in advance
My wife and I went here to ice skate. We have grown up in NRH are entire lives, even had my project celebration at the Nytex for prom with my wife. We weren't even here 30 minutes before we left our free skate. My wife was bullied because she accidentally took her skates on the bleachers to grab her water. We own that mistake, but we didn't know. We understand a warning but a lady, who doesn't even work there, was extremely disrespectful to my wife. No parking, people were parking on grass and across the street. Inside is a maze with no signage. Ticket taker was rude because their scanner wouldn't work. Seating was confusing as they were not marked, multiple people in wrong seats.
