These are not “luxury” apartments. Do not be fooled by the beautiful lobby and talk of amenities. This place is a scam. The hallways used to smell like weed every night until we kept getting emails about it, now the parking lot smells like weed every night. For the most part, this is a great place to live. Maintenance service is outstanding, property is well maintained, amenities are great, staff are friendly and helpful. This would get 5 stars except for the noise. Specifically dogs. The dog owners are actually at fault, not the dogs. Barking is constant and obnoxious, all hours of the day and night. Edit 5 - AC has broken twice this summer in the middle of extreme heat leaving us to be stuck at 80 degrees all day and night indoors Edit 4 - I forgot to mention the shooting across the street last year and disruptive behavior of individuals has increased over the last two years. The biggest problem with modern apartment living isn’t the building. It isn’t your neighbors. It isn’t even the property manager. My husband and I have been living at Nuvelo’s for +3 years and a half now. While the building offers a luxurious environment there are some significant details that need attention: Lately, WEED smell all over the lobby and the 1st floor, it is disgusting and it is disrupting the peaceful, quiet atmosphere that should be a standard in luxury living.
