History Established in 1921. Nut Tree is a mixed-use development in Vacaville, California near the intersection of Interstate 80 and Interstate 505. It opened in 1921 on old U.S. Route 40. It was created by Helen and Ed "Bunny" Power as a small roadside fruit stand, and built near the site of Helen's childhood home (Harbison House dating from 1907), which she and her husband purchased from her parents not long after their 1920 marriage. RecommendedAlways enjoy coming here! Been visiting since I was a very young child!! My children always loved our visits there and now my grandkids enjoy it!! Great shopping, restaurants and theme park!! Something for everyone!!
We stopped here every Christmas on the way back down to the bay area. I still remember the classic mid century charm in the restaurant. Looks like it's changed a lot, but I'm glad the Nut Tree is still around.
Had a wonderful birthday party at the Nut Tree. Staff was great and kids had a blast.

Storybook Photos has the most authentic Santa and beautiful setup for photos with Santa. I go there every year. Or kids aren't getting any younger!
