About this business

History Established in 1921. Nut Tree is a mixed-use development in Vacaville, California near the intersection of Interstate 80 and Interstate 505. It opened in 1921 on old U.S. Route 40. It was created by Helen and Ed "Bunny" Power as a small roadside fruit stand, and built near the site of Helen's childhood home (Harbison House dating from 1907), which she and her husband purchased from her parents not long after their 1920 marriage. I live everything there, I wish that the train ride would be longer. My 3yr old loves the train and ea h time we ride he would say that was a short ride

I like the nut tree... I love the shops, the playground, etc. The only thing that make me sad is that it’s not a “smoke free” zone... I was at Peet’s coffee sitting feeding my 3 old month baby and a guy sit next to me and he start smoking. Another day I was walking around a “massage place” and they were smoking outside..it was shocking that it was right across the playground... I would suggest that you should have “smoke free zones” specially near by the playground...

I worked at the Nut Tree a few years ago. The beauty of the little amusement park brings back a part of Vacaville history that is a great visit weather you live in town or are stopping by. While the plaza is small there is lots to do in the way of the train the carasoul and the play ground. The team that runs the plaza clearly fills it with love and hard work. Visiting at night is dreamy with all the lights on. it's a must see.

Been coming to the Nut Tree since the early 60s. Love the factory stores and great restaurants. Love Fenton’s Creamery.
