I had my daughter there last April and I was not impressed at all with anything. My water broke so I was told I was to take doses of pitocin, so when I asked for my dose I was told that I really didn't need it, after hours of my water being broken. I was in so much pain of course being a first time mom I had no idea what the pain level was so yes I was a little loud because of the pain and I had a nurse tell me I was to loud. I had a horrible experience at W&I. Labor and delivery was amazing, recovery was not. My nurses made me feel like I was a burden. They were rude, rough with my newborn, and barely answered any of my questions. We were handed a book and were told everything we needed to know was in there. We received ZERO lactation help after requesting it on multiple occasions. I called the warm line after coming home and was told to "give up and give my son formula" and that it was "my problem because I didn't ask for help while in the hosp... read more
