Great food and service. I would recommend getting there early as they get busy.
Went late morning. Super busy. Got seated and were told 30-45 minutes for food. Not a big deal. We got our drinks and ordered food. Waitress then forgot us. No refills, no checking in. Flagged down waitress to refill drink. She forgets us so flagged down a different another waitress for refills. Waited about 45 minutes. Different person brought the food. Bacon was cold. Eggs and pancakes were lukewarm. Not really impressed.
It’s my birthday today and my fiancé and I wanted to start my celebration by having brunch here... we were told it would be a 30-40 wait for food and that was fine, but it took 15 minutes to even get a menu while we watched other people come in and get waters and menus right away. When the manager (overheard her name was Kat), finally noticed me wave her down, she was not polite, laughed at us, and never once apologized for us having to wait so long. While their food is good, their service is incredibly slow. They can usually seat you right away, but a normal wait time for your food is 45 minutes. For those with kids - or for those who are hungry - I would not recommend the Nucleus.
The environment is very nice, and the food was good, but that's about all this place is good for. in my opinion you can't really enjoy either or those things if you don't have good service! We didn't have the same waitress the whole time, so no one ever checked on us or updated us about our food. Took 15 mins to come and greet us and give us waters. My favorite breakfast place! My order is always stuffed French toast and a white hot chocolate. Lionized potatoes and a Rob Thomas are a close second choice. My hubby isn’t a breakfast guy but loves the dirty bird for lunch.
