Overcoming A Fear of All Dentists I was always terrified of dental visits due to a horrible childhood experience. This carried over to my adulthood where I would have panic attacks and high blood pressure issues with every visit. This ended with my first visit to see Dr. Bob Nowlin in 2002. I had never had a dentist who explained what needed to be done and why.
