Food is absolutely amazing! I've been there a few times already and have tried multiple rolls, tuna tartare, oysters, ginger salad, cocktails, etc. Everything has been outstanding!! So glad to have them in the area. Love it!!

Great experience, especially for only being their 5th day open!! First of all, the restaurant is absolutely beautiful! The atmosphere is very fresh & edgy, perfect for a sushi place. It's a bit on the smaller side, so definitely make reservations if you are a bigger group or need a table at a certain time. We started with some sake (Junmai filtered) and the Mean Geisha cocktail. I will start off by saying, I loooove sushi. I have eaten a lot of sushi over the years and there were positive aspects of our dining experience at Novu.... but it wasnt the food. The atmosphere was great, the drinks were good (though slow, I expect that will work itself out in time), and the manager (owner?) was really quite a delight. My friend and I dined at NOVU today. We enjoyed a late lunch. The tuna tartare was so fresh and delicious. I will order it again. The seaweed salad was incredibly crunchy and tasty, a must-have for me. I ordered the Malibu Roll and will do so again, but not until after sampling some of the other tantalizing dishes. The decor is crisp, clean, and modern, and the service was excellent. It is great to see another business open in Peoria. Best of luck to NOVU.
