I had a great experience during my move-in at Novel South Capitol East. The process was smooth, and the team was very supportive throughout. I especially want to highlight Natalia, who was incredibly helpful, responsive, and proactive. She made sure everything was well coordinated and guided me through each step, which made a big difference. **Edit (4/2026): There is a large group of residents in the building who have received inexplicably high HVAC bills for three months and the building’s manager, Alexa Sclavounos, has refused to offer any solutions. For instance, one apartment’s HVAC was shut off for an entire month and they received a bill over $100. ‼️‼️Management is not helpful‼️‼️ Recently a group of more than 20 residents have brought it to management’s attention that our HVAC bills are uncharacteristically high with no change in activity. Surprisingly, the employee who just received the award for building of the year on behalf of Novel, Alexa Scalvounos, has been completely unhelpful and has taken zero responsibility for the discrepancies.
