They have taken great care of me. Have been admitted at least six times since July for difficulty breathing. Always polite and caring.
This hospital has a ways to go, but it's still far more friendly than NHRMC in Wilmington. More personable. Please keep striving to be quicker, more efficient, sympathetic and personable. Keep the down-home thing going, with a degree of professionalism I know you can attain! Love you guys.
My 10 month old grandson was visiting North Carolina from Ohio and woke in the morning with a high fever having a hard time breathing. The ER did nothing at llc him, not even a breathing treatment, no meds prescribed for cough, no inhaler, no nothing. Was advised to go omega and him in the bathroom with a hot shower running! They are now driving back to Ohio his breathing is getting worse! I believe he wasn't treated because his Ohio government insurance didn't cover the services. RATE: negative 10!!!!!!
Dr. In ER was unprofessional on May 20th. 2016. My daughter was in severe pain from a Lupus flare up. Dr. told us he could not help her and that she should see her own Dr. Also told us that we had been there numerous times. I guess he has never had Lupus. Hope one day he has pain and no one can help him. I always had the impression that hospitals were there to help. He kelp going on about a study involving pain meds. Not interested. Just needed a compassionate Dr. Would not recommend Pender Hospital.
