Hello, I had hammer toe surgery this morning. Every single nurse was fantastic! Very friendly, experienced, and professional. They got me in, and on my way. My Podiatrist Dr. Robert Goecker was incredible. Third generation surgeon, 25+ years experience, and knows his craft! If you are in the Winston-Salem and surrounding area, I highly recommend Novant Health Hawthorne Outpatient Surgery Center.
My sister had two cataract surgeries here in November and December. I’d highly recommend this facility as their staff is professional and caring.
The staff at Hawthorne Surgical are extremely knowledgeable and professional in the care they provide. From the moment you register in to the point of discharge they are kind and concerned for your well being. Not only for me as a patient, but my husband while he waits. Being a nurse for 38 years, I can clearly see the teamwork amongst the various disciplines, it is not the “my patient your patient mentality”. I had cataract surgery and was well taken care of. Great nurses Jennifer listened when I said I was a hard stick for IV. She got the head nurse who did indeed get in 1 stick. Very friendly and comforting staff who actually listen. They were all great! Thank-you all!
