This place is a joke. After 2 weeks of no communication and 15 unanswered phone calls I thought it was a scam and threatened to report them to the BBB. Only then did I receive a response from someone. They use an AI texting service, so you're never actually talking with a leasing agent. All the tours are self guided, there is no one there to answer any questions or walk you through anything. All the phone numbers go straight to voicemail with no option to leave a message. Management doesn't exist. I've tried getting tours on multiple occasions and couldn't get management to pick up the phone. Once they finally did, 3 months later, they didn't show up to the tour and didn't answer the phones when contacted. How do thy even management to get tenants with management that poor. And if management is never available how present could the rest of the apartment staff be? Maintenance probably slacks off too. This is review of the complex, the management, and also specifically for building 2920 apartment 3. As a whole, the apartment is fine. Cheap rent, an alright pool, washer/dryer in unit, central air, and a dishwasher in highland park? That's good with me. It should be noted that the washer/dryer combo does stink. You know I’m a chill enough person I really am, but you know what I can’t stand? Is it the random person living above me stomping his feet making my dogs bark like crazy? Positives: location, unit size. Negatives: everything else. My short time at Nova was the worst living situation of my entire life. When I walked into my unit for the first time, both my dishwasher and AC were broken. The AC was fixed the next day, but the dishwasher took almost 2 months (and all they did was replace it). The property has trash and dog poop everywhere, and the trash/dumpster area was always a mess, as well. However, the biggest problem was the noise.
