Great building, staff, but walls are NOT noise proof The Notch is conveniently located in the up and coming Potomac Yards area, a safe and new development in VA. The building has great amenities and staff. Sadly, the walls for the apartment seem to be non-existent late at night. I can hear footsteps and conversations late into the early morning. I don't use a hearing aid or have super "hearing" powers, so this is a smear to what seemed to be an almost perfect building.
Fabulous Architecture! Notch 8 is a " notch above" the rest. Fabulous design, decor and feels like home. Very elegant yet rustic feel. The owner of this building spared no expense!!! They chose the very best quality of material, the mill work is amazing and the feel is soothing. The courtyard is an oasis; resort in the middle of the city; a fabulous vacation every day of your life. The neighborhood is #thebest.
