Verified Renter Great location and convenient to Old Town, Delray, Pentagon, Crystal City and Washington, DC. Great activities, dining and events happening all the time in the area and you don't need to drive to get to them. Public transportation is just a few feet away.
Verified Renter I really enjoy staying at Notch 8. Everything is well taken care of, the maintenance team is amazing, the office staff are always polite and helpful, and the building is consistently clean. Highly recommend!
Verified Renter Notch 8 is conveniently located and has all modes of transportation (buses and metro)very close by. Delray main street is within walking distance plus there’s good shopping and restaurants also within walking distance while a grocery store is downstairs which makes it nice and convenient.

Management Issues & Declining Living Experience I have been living here for the last two years, and the last several months (end of 2024 to now) have been notably challenging. Maintenance has become increasingly unreliable, with limited staff capable of effectively addressing issues. For instance, my apartment experienced a leak that persisted for nearly three weeks, and this problem appears to be common among other residents as well. Verified Renter Notch 8 really does stand above the rest in terms of quality, community, and comfort. I’ve been a resident now for almost a year and I feel very fortunate to have found Notch 8. My apart is modern and efficient, the building is well maintained, and I’ve never once struggled to find a parking spot. Add in the glorious views and close proximity to the metro, and I couldn’t ask for a better residence.
Verified Renter Notch 8 is a place that is conveniently located to DC, Delray on the Avenue, Old Town and to shopping (Target, Best Buy, HomeGoods, PetSmart, TJMaxx, Total Wine and more all within walking distance). While the building is one of the first in the Potomac Yard area, it has aged somewhat but is well maintained and has the normal amenities as other apartment buildings. Verified Renter Don't move here. This management group is ineffective. How could the living experience at Notch8 be improved? More responsive management. Not take 5 months to fix the secure garage door; not take 6 months to fix the security system; not take 5 months to fix the elevators situation with the freight elevator; have a better system to secure packages (often left out on table even when the building was not secure due to alarm being in-operable).
