I had a mixed experience at Cross Landing Apartments in Norfolk, VA. The office manager, Alexis E., was very kind, professional, and understanding, which I truly appreciated. Unfortunately, the main issue was the condition and readiness of the apartment unit. After multiple delays, when I finally viewed the unit, it was not properly cleaned and had several maintenance issues, including damaged flooring and unfinished paint. I only gave them 1 star because that’s the only way to write a review. Stay far from this property. I spent less than 2 months there and got flooded twice by sewage backed up, i called the office and no one picks up, I even drove there, I saw them inside but they pretended as if no one was inside the office. I spent 3 nights in a hotel because of the second flooding, the apartment was flooded for 3 days and they show no compassion, and I had to clean the apartment both times after the flooding. I’ve been residing here for about 4 months and there has been a lot of violations… we still don’t have smoke detectors… it takes maintenance forever to come and fix a problem… I have a sink that’s a garage disposal, that’s not supposed to be installed I was told now my sinks backed up… I’ve put in numerous requests still not met… the mail like stated we havevt gotten in 4 months due to boxes being broken unable to access… that’s a serious violation as well… Norview needs to do better..
