Most un-family oriented Labor & Delivery hospital EVER!
I loved the aides and nurses. One person turned my outstanding into I hated this place. Nikki is her name. House Supervisor for the hospital. She was rude, hateful and downright nasty. As a 21 year old retired veteran this woman yelled as if I was a child. She was upset about a protective gown my wife was to wear behind a line at my door. Her own staff set her example by not wearing this. Nurses, aides, house keeping and dietary set her example to us. In and out of my room without this dust jacket on. Great hospital, amazing staff and amazing nurses. Being military and moving to the area with my wife at 36 weeks pregnant, Norton’s was the only hospital to take us for her last few weeks. Delivery and recovery care was exceptional. All the nurses, doctors, and other members of the staff were friendly, professional, kind, and great to work with, especially as first time parents.
