Bought an A/C unit 1.5 years ago. MarinAire called this week checking up on it. Wait….what???? Who does that? MarinAire does it. Genuinely wanting to know if I had experienced any issues. Wasn't trying to sell me anything- simply delivering outstanding customer service. IT gave me an opportunity to ask some questions. He was patient as if I was his only customer for the day. Customer service is far superior to any marine parts company I have dealt with ( and there are many) . This company’s policy is to personally call to confirm you are getting what you ordered and to make sure that you checked measurements to assure fit. In my case I had plenty of room in a catamaran but the call was appreciated. The AC unit was so well thought out and professionally made. I can’t find a single thing I would change. We ordered 2 16k units to replace/upgrade the air conditioning on our boat. They were a perfect fit and a drop in installation. The process was straightforward and easy. They keep the boat more comfortable than it has ever been, even in the crazy heat we have had this year.
