My mom had to have an emergency Craniotomy at Norton Hospital this past week. Her surgeon- Dr Raque - saved her life!! He is awesome with a wonderful bed side manner. All of the staff & nurses have given her fabulous care and attention, Kudos to Norton’s Hospital but we’re ready to bring her home this weekend Please, lol!!
No one loves being in any hospital but I love my doctors (Dr Raque & Dr Johnson for 2 level ACDF), the food was pretty good and my nurses are so amazing, I didn’t get every name but Mary (her mother’s maiden name was Wimsatt), Erin (didn’t get her last name but she has an incredibly awesome 9 year old daughter, loved talking to her and getting my mind on something else), Shelby Dogan, Devin Smith, Brandi Merrimen, Brittany Ollie’s, Karen Starland, Ella McWorter & everyone else that was on my case. Went in for emergency surgery, had to buy a phone charger from the gift shop.. It was stolen from my room while i was asleep! The original complaint wasn't filed so had to file twice.
Dirty. Rooms dirty and patients laying on beds sitting in the middle of the hallways. Nothing like the other part of the hospital. Need a shower after leaving this dirty dump.
