Because the nurses at the labor and deliver floor are lacking of manners when they talk to patients family . They need to be more polite .some of them have nasty attitudes.

My fiance came in to the ER a few days ago for a spider bite. Took 2 hrs to see the Dr. who wasnt very friendly & she made me get up(im pregnant & their was only 1 chair in the little area they had us in) so my husband could set down cuz she has a bad back & was hurting & couldnt examine his leg comfortably with him standing & putting his leg on the table. STAFF AND CARE ARE EXCELLENT. They would've gotten 5* BUT they aren't very conducive to families. There's nowhere to stay with a loved one in ICU. The waiting room has uncomfortable straight back chairs. There's nowhere to lay down or nap.

I had mostly great nurses and drs. But I had one nurse who gave me attitude any time I asked for anything. In holding before surgery I asked to not have a thing that would numb my surgery sight. I awoke to be poked over 7-8 times with a huge needle which I already said I didn’t want. This was while I was in recovery.

Dr Dwivedi took her case as she was transferred from Baptist Health in Madisonville to St. Vincent’s in Evansville then to Norton’s. The nurses in 4B are outstanding! They truly care about their patients and their needs! Every single Dr or resident has been very kind, compassionate, understanding and humble. I would give this hospit... read more
