I came down on the 4th of July to visit my brother in ICU. I slept there for three nights. The hospital staff was the most responsive and attentive I've ever witnessed! The night nurse, Lindsay, was so sweet and attentive i wanted to propose to her several times. The day nurse, Sylvia (i believe thats her name) touched me with how welcome she made me. Be prepared to walk, even with valet parking, and even if you have mobility issues. I was at the point of collapsing, even with a walker, by the time I got to and from my doctor's office in the annex to the valet parking station. No help, except for the actual parking. My doctor of many years has an office in the doctors' annex. If I were giving THEM a review, it would be a five star, but I'm afraid the accessibility issue has forced me to give a much lower rating for the hospital parking situation.
I think this place should be thoroughly investigated. Their treatment of patients is intolerable, they took in a cancer patient through ER last night. She had chest pains and extremely high blood pressure. She wasn't capable of advocating for herself, she couldn't function properly and this facility discharged her, not bothering to make sure anybody would even be able to come and get her and when people called looking for her they claimd to have no record of her, I am disgusted! Disgusted
How dare you leave my cousin in a wheelchair and not contact anyone to come get her. This is irresponsible and neglegent. Ginnie has cancer and this could have killed her! Shame on your hospital.
