Northwoods East Middletown I went to apartments.com and found this rental. It is by far the best apartment I have seen in Middletown. I have been here for 3 years and don't have any plans to be moving soon. The dog friendly apartment is one of the things that sold me. Also, the friendly staff in the office who take prompt action to any work order. The maintenance at Northwoods are also friendly, prompt, and professional. Terrible place to Live They pulled the old bait and switch on me and gave me an apartment I never even saw and did not ask for. They are not considerate of their tenants because they simply only want your money and want to charge you all these little fees that they do not tell you about until you sign your lease. They have small parking spots and when I moved into the building I ended up on the tippety top floor which is excruciatingly tiresome.. especially when I move out as soon as possible. Red Flags we ignored Red Flags we ignored and now are sorry. 1-Not allowed to see our apartment before we moved in. (standard practice here) 2-Utility costs sky rocket during winter months 3-Extremely poor insulation and sound proofing. 4-terrible cold air infiltration. Fireplace dampers do not close properly. Safe and nice place to live Home is where you choose to make it. We are in our 70's and moved to Northwoods East for convenience, price, and amenities. We could have chosen many other places but Northwoods seemed to be a good fit for us. Our first floor apartment is perfect and it is an easy to either of the two great pools, two gyms, billiards, and video game room. horrible Would not recommend to ANYONE. Horrible service, slow response rate, workers are extremely rude, the dog park was never looked after- garbage always full, they do not put wood chips down. The A/C was horrible and extremely loud. If I could give it 0 stars I would.
Don't be fooled.... Don't be fooled by these reviews. There is only one helpful, nice staff member. Parking is a total nightmare and they will not do a thing about it. If you want a covered spot, it is $66 dollars a month!! On top of already paying a ton of money for your apartment, then your water, trash, and sewer! If you have a complaint, it is always "call the cops" which is stupid, because I am not going to call the cops for people walking loudly, that is the job of the apartment to notify the tenant of the issue. G Madison Northwoods is a relaxing place to live. Not loud and if you get a wood facing unit it doesn't feel like a busy complex. I have lived at Northwoods for 2 years and the staff is super responsive and helps with any issues, but I suggest going into the office to expedite repairs. They have replaced my washing machine and dryer quickly. My only complaint is surrounding wet spots caused by ice damns, I heard they were happening in a lot of units. Madison at Northwoods I love this apartment. Unfortunately, I have to move because I can no longer afford the rent. It is at $1,443 including water and a monthly pet fee (I have cats). I love the apartment because it has 2 bathrooms, 2 walk-in closets and a large pantry area with a washer and dryer. Additionally, the common areas are well maintained except for a few glitches (for instance, they never trim the Rhododendron bushes out front). Madison Northwoods My husband and I had to move from a colonial house to an apartment for financial reasons and we thought for sure we would hate the apartment life but we were wrong. Where we are is convenient to everything, shopping , restaurants, public transportation, if we need it.
