Had the good fortune of finding Northwind Pet Care Center when we determined we would need to board our furry kids while away on a family vacation this coming summer. We decided to give it a test run with our 3 pit / mastiff mixes while away for a weekend in Portland prior to the longer stay that would be needed this summer. We found the kennel and staff to be professional, courteous, outgoing and most importantly friendly to us and the not so little furry kids. I go away every year to my church's women's conference in Ocean Shores. In the past, my three doggies have been at home with my hubby. I unexpectedly lost my husband 17 months ago. We had boarded our dogs over the years at Northwind when we took trips back East, and they were always so well cared for. One of my "boys" is blind, and I trusted Northwind to watch over him. They take absolutely fabulous care of my dog and allow him to play and experience the joys of being at home
We use Northwind about every month. We appreciate the great service. They take very good care of our Bichon, Sailor. The staff gives us a personal note about Sailor's stay each time. The facilities are very clean. And the grooming is very good and fairly priced. Also, if Sailor needs medication, the staff notes it in his file. It is great piece of mind when we are away from our little guy.
We love Northwind Pet Care Center! Our dog, Molly loves everyone there! She's been going there since she was a pup and at 5 years old she knows her way around there very well! She also knows her way to the hearts of all the staff! They also take our elderly (15yr old) cat who is very cranky and just wants to be left alone! They administer her medications twice a day and put up with her attitude. For that we are very grateful! I've recommended them to several people and my grand puppy goes there now too! Thanks Northwind!
