My girlfriend was here, and when she had me on the phone doctors asked if she could get off when she repeatedly said she needed me on there to help figure out next steps, and then when her phone hangs up hours later she is being sent over to another hospital where she now has to stay until they seem her “ready”, and that hospital has a history of keeping patients too long, which is very upsetting and very suspicious and concerning especially after getting off the phone with her and she barely remembers how she got there due ... read more

Northwestern Hospital has become by far the worst hospital. I ce I to the ER at CDPH and waited over with hours plus saw patients suffering in pain for hours just as I had to. How ridiculous is this? I’m surprised people didn’t drop dead the way they make you wait. I’ve been going to NW hospital in other locations for over 15 years, I’m so done with them. They should be ashamed of themselves because is not a cheap or free hospital

My wife had an appointment at the Breast Center. A follow up from her initial mammogram at Loyola. Referred there because her physician recently transferred to CDH. We were asked to provide all past imaging which was done. 12 years of studies on 2 cd’s. The technician who in my opinion was awful bluntly stated, “ we can’t do this the radiologist will not look at outside film”. We were sent home. Calls to the department remain unanswered. This hospital has gone down hill so fast! In the past it was well managed, over the past six 6 years I've seen it go from a decent short wait time to now 8-10 hours. I have been seen here, my children have been seen here.. I've had one good experience, in the pediatric ER. I will say the pediatric ER is much better. But there is a female doctor with blonde short hair who is absolutely atrocious. I have spoke to patient care and filled a complaint the police and even a lawyer. Someone almost two years has almost passed my mother had a multiple of three strokes within 6 weeks of each other but what I would like to say when I tell you that she was truly blessed by God in the doctors that God blessed to take care of people there with dramatic illnesses or episodes to draw of their illness and for every last nurse tech transporter at doctors all the specialist with to me they're all specialist better blessed with the gift to do for others thank you to each and everyone of you who had any hands on help... read more
