My husband came in through the ER after his spinal stenosis got to the point where he needed immediate care that the VA couldn't provide. I am so grateful he landed at NMC - from the ER to the Nursing Unit, everyone was professional, compassionate and caring. Dr. Barnum and the OR staff did a wonderful job, and his post op care was excellent - loved that his private room had space for family to be comfortable as well as the patient. I was recently admitted to another hospital for a week and am currently admitted at NMC, the difference is mind blowing! The staff here are phenomenal, friendly and go above and beyond for their patients while listening to them and showing care. Every single person I have had contact with here have made me feel comfortable and well cared for. The rooms are amazing, they are private, large, updated and extremely clean. I am on a liquid diet now but the one meal I did have was great too, the menu has items like sirloin steak o... read more
