Scheduling is a nightmare to begin with. You can’t just call and schedule based on your availability. They will just pick an appointment for you and you better just hope you can make it because if not, then you can wait another month or 2 and try again. Out of the 3 or 4 appointments I’ve had here, I have not waited less than an HOUR (usually more). I love my cardiologist but since he went in with Northwest TX Hospital many procedures and tests are performed at the hospital. Which of course means hospital prices.
Extremely Disappointed with Northwest Physicians Group - Lake View Cardiology A referral was sent to this office almost three weeks ago for both my husband and myself to see a cardiologist. During that time, I called twice to follow up, left messages, and received absolutely no response. Not once did anyone return my call. Every time I tried to reach someone, it went straight to an automated system—no live person, no help, no urgency. Bad scheduling. They open at 8am. I arrived at 8:05 am for simple blood draw.. Already 26 people checked in and waiting. Staff working as fast as possible and doing a great job. Also, waiting room like a meat locker. Way, way to cold. People complaining. Asked a nurse why they had it so cold. She said she didn't know and it was like that the day before also. Didn't seem concerned. Someone joked maybe they were preparing us for the morgue! Need to pay more attention to basic needs of patients and maintain facility conditions ... read more
