I have been going to Northwest General Dentistry for about 8 years. Both Dr. Vakil and Dr. Otten are very professional and kind. In addition to that, my favorite hygienist is Mary. She is very professional, and the way she is cleaning the teeth is very gentle and patient. I would definitely recommend the Northwest General Dentistry to my friends.
First I have to say, I have always been terrified of Dentist, I have been going to this office for over 5yrs, over these years, I can now walk in without taking an anxiety medication. I always have a great experience, from the time I walk through the front door the staff and Doctors are always pleasant, very helpful and very patience (with any anxieties), they listen and explain in detail all that is needed.
From the time you walk thru the front door everyone is so pleasant and friendly. They all truly care about our dental and overall health! Not many people enjoy the dentist office, but this group makes you want to come back for more :)
My teeth are my nemesis, thus I spend a lot of time here. Wonderful dentist, sweet techs, great hygienists & a very congenial front office. What more could you ask?

Just had my bi-annual teeth cleaning and check up. My appointment went very well. The admit staff were very nice and all ran on schedule. My Dental Hygienist, Mary, is the best! She is very professional, polite and does a great job on my teeth every time I see her. Mary has a steady and gentle hand, always takes her time, and does a thorough job.
