Northstar Optical is a family owned and operated optical. We meet the needs of all our patients whether they need a simple adjustment, a new prescription, or a whole new pair of glasses or contacts. We make glasses on site so you could have your glasses within 20 minutes, but if we do not have your lenses it could take about a week to order them and get them done. RecommendedI’ve been coming here for 15 years for contacts and glasses and have never had any issues. They’ve always been very friendly, affordable and accommodating. Today for example, I called an hour before closing and not only did they squeeze me in, I was in and out in less than an hour. They were clearly very busy but did a great job at making sure everyone was taken care of!

We have been coming here for years, drove up from kyle TX today, wanted to get an eye exam for my son, showed up ay 10:30....they open at 10am. Unfortunately there was nobody here, lights are off, and doors are locked. it is now after 11am with still nobody here. Very disappointed with lack of professionalism.
Don't be fooled by the cheap eye exam. You'll have to wait a week or more to receive your RX. The contacts and glasses are also super pricey.
Great service...all around...I went in and got everything for less than planned to spend...I would recommend this place...
Best optical ever! The only Dr I've had in the 30 years of wearing glasses/contacts who have nailed my RX the very first time. Tore my cornea and Jason got me right in and got me into a pair of glasses within the hour. The staff like to joke with you and tell you that you can't pick your contacts up on whatever day you walk in, roll with it, they're just being austin weird:)
