Went for a routine mammogram. They called me to come back. I went back spent 20 minutes. They took a few more xrays then proceeded to charge me almost 2,000.00. Weren't up front about any of this. They just did it. I let it go to collection.
Have a bill that was set up on a payment plan auto-debiting from my HSA account. I have the confirmation number approving the plan. After 4 payments they sent my account to collections with the final 2 payments remaining. When I contacted billing I received a girl that made it sound like they even did me a favor applying my insurance, refused to let me speak to a supervisor or even give me the name of a supervisor.
