I was disappointed by the way we were treated by the receptionist at Northside Hospital Center for Perinatal Medicine – Midtown. We arrived only three minutes past our appointment time and were spoken to in a rude, dismissive manner. The receptionist told my wife, “you don’t get to come in anytime you want,” in a very harsh tone. In a perinatal setting where patients are often anxious or stressed, this lack of empathy was especially upsetting. The interaction at the front desk set a negative tone before we were even seen

I was scheduled for an appointment and called to inform the office I was running late due to traffic. The receptionist I spoke with forgot to put me on mute and told someone ‘They’re not even in the car yet’. When she got back on the phone she was rude and not helpful at all. I was fine with rescheduling my appointment due to my arrival time, but the way she spoke with me on the phone and the comment she made when she thought she had me on mute was very demeaning. I walked into the clinic mind you my teenager and 6yr old were with me about to sit down in the waiting room and the young lady with the ponytail gets real excited no hello I’m sorry but excitedly yells no kids I politely tell her they were just going to have a seat in the waiting room for me and she was like No! They can’t even wait in the waiting room at all! Her tone was rude and nasty so I cancelled my appointment for next week. I’m coming here to comment a year later of how amazing Dr. Trevett is ! I thank him so much until this day for all he done to keep me able to carry my baby !! I’m so thankful for you Cux if it wasn’t for you I wouldn’t even able to have my greatest gift !!!!

I get referred here for an ultrasound through my regular doctor. I have an appointment at 3:45pm and came in at 3:50pm and was asked did I call to tell them I was running late because they don’t have a grace period. The lady at the front had to go ask the Dr if I can still be seen and the Dr said he would see me. I can come on time any other time and won’t be to the back til 10 15 20 mins after my appointment time what is the difference!? I know rules are rules but that’s so stupid and unprofessional.
