Be aware they hound you for prepayment for the procedure gap fee ($200) even if it’s months out because it’s “office policy.” I wasn’t advised of this policy at the initial booking, nor after my consultation when I was paying for the consultation and prep sachets. Obviously I’m going to pay the fee (it’s less than the consult), but surely it’s reasonable to do so within a week or two of services, not over two months in advance because that’s the earliest appointment. Dr Jayanna and the day hospital nurses are so caring and professional. I always request my procedure be performed by Dr Jayanna, he is thorough , very considerate and a nice bloke. The nurses make you feel as if you are their only patient.

I self funded this urgent endoscopy recommended by the public hospital ER after having difficulty swallowing and pain worsening over time. The reception staff Linda and Desley spoke quite rudely over the phone and i felt like I was rushed to book and pay. The doctor appeared to be late and rushed on the day of the endoscopy. The private hospital staff and anaesthetist were wonderful. Twice over a few years I have had Dr Jayanna for colonoscopy/and endoscopy. He's a lovely man, very friendly, thorough, and I enjoy chatting with him. I feel confident in his care and will continue to see him when it's time for the dreaded (only the prep) colonoscopy again.
