We have seen two different gastro specialists, and unfortunately neither acknowledged or discussed my daughter’s Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, Mast Cell Activation Syndrome, or Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome — all of which are complex conditions she lives with and that significantly impact her gastrointestinal health. Sadly, we walked away feeling unheard, poorer financially, and no closer to getting answers or appropriate support.
I have been a patient of the Clinic for many, many years. Dr Sinniah has been my specialist in 2020, and again in 2025. I have found him helpful, calming and thorough. Dr Sinniah has performed several endoscopies, colonoscopies on me. I have now also had a balloon enteroscopy. I completely trust him with these procedures. Dr Jayanna has performed routine endoscopies, colonoscopies and polypectomies on me as well. Be aware they hound you for prepayment for the procedure gap fee ($200) even if it’s months out because it’s “office policy.” I wasn’t advised of this policy at the initial booking, nor after my consultation when I was paying for the consultation and prep sachets. Obviously I’m going to pay the fee (it’s less than the consult), but surely it’s reasonable to do so within a week or two of services, not over two months in advance because that’s the earliest appointment. Dr Jayanna and the day hospital nurses are so caring and professional. I always request my procedure be performed by Dr Jayanna, he is thorough , very considerate and a nice bloke. The nurses make you feel as if you are their only patient.
