My mother was at the Kansas Heart Hospital and I asked the nurse which hotel we should stay at and she had heard that Wichita Inn North gave a hospital discount-come to find out, it was only a \$2 discount, but it was the cheapest hotel in the area.The hotel room was very nice and the bed was comfortable but the service was TERRIBLE!!! My boyfriend, who is only 19, made a reservation for himself, another friend, and I to stay in a room. The front dest had no problem with a 19 year old making the reservation- although she never asked his age. When we came to check in, she refused us the room because he was under 21. We left and waited for our friend, who is 21, to come check us in. We have stayed at this motel since opening. Since 2005 it has gone down hill drastically. The bar has not supplied the things advertised. The WI FI does NOT work even though I told them specifically I needed it for work and was assured not once but twice it was working. When I asked to have it rebooted they told me it was working. I could hook up but it would not go to any web site.The maintainance is awful.. The Cleanliness does remain good. SAD to say that I, a long standing customer, am looking toward Holiday Inn Express.... read more
