Recommendedas many times as I've called to check on my husband the staff has been so nice. his nurse is amazing and im great full he's in good hands
Most of the staff is impatient, rude, or just ignores the patient. My dad was on the fifth floor and received horrific “care”. We went from being told he “should be released soon” to “we could not resuscitate him”. I will never know why he died in that hospital because the autopsy they asked us if we wanted and I said “absolutely, yes” - was NEVER performed. If you have breathing issues and cannot wear a mask DO NOT bring your kid to EMMC ER!! They will not let you in. Even though the Governor’s mandate says if you have breathing issues you do not have to wear a mask!!

I just want to say thank you to all of the wonderful staff who took care of my baby and I last month on the labor and delivery floor. I had so much anxiety about birthing during the pandemic and everyone who helped me at the hospital was so warm and compassionate and helped to ease my anxiety. The birth of my first son at another hospital was a completely different experience and I am so thankful to have had my last baby there. Keep up the good work, it truly makes a difference!

The doctors here are excellent. The rooms where people are waiting for patients could use a little work, but the place is old.
I had a major surgery on Monday morning the 17th. I was incredibly anxious about it and the team at NL EMMC were wonderful. They alleviated my concerns and helped me relax. They were kind and empathetic in their approach to handling my “nerves” and they truly listened after it was over so they could give me the best care possible. I’m thrilled at how well it all went and how quickly I am recovering!
