Attended the Open House October 8. We were so impressed with the campus, dorms, professors, and student guided tours. My daughter left very excited that this may be her college.

Decent decent decent decent
Everyone is so friendly, Grant dorms are roomy, bus system to get students around campus and local stores off campus is comprehensive, and the campus is beautiful. My freshman is settling in nicely.
Beautiful stadium but $15 to park is a bit steep. Guess I won't be going to as many games as I wanted too. 😟
Attended NIU from 1965 to 1969 receiving my BS in Education. Northern is a great university. It prepared me to enter my masters program and to go on to become a teacher. I highly recommend this school.
