I attended NIU my freshman year of 2017 and it was horrible! Some of the staff were really rude, the teachers really don’t care about the students. Some of the advisors are no help at all ! I had this one advisor named Chris..he was horrible! Always unavailable and when i tried to switch advisors they wouldn’t let me. Worse year ever. And the campus is very unsafe! Just last week someone on campus got stabbed and blood was everywhere in grant lobby. Then NIU tried to making it seem like it wasn’t a big deal because their too... read more
Your campus needs to be redesigned for social interaction. A quad would be nice and a better gym. Also treat your students with respect and don’t take advantage of them.
All NIU staff that we dealt with were very friendly and helpful throughout the entire orientation.
