Would love to donate blood as much as possible but I won't wait around afterwards for a set amount of time needlessly after I donate unless needed, and they say can't donate then unless waste $500 of my time afterwards for no benefit to anyone (not including donated time giving blood as that is volunteer time, just waiting period afterwards to make sure not going to faint or whatever BS.) They must not want blood donations very much, sad they don't care much.
I have donated blood at our local blood bank over the decades, and I continue to be impressed with the positivity, friendliness, and efficiency of its dedicated staff members. I want to do a special "shout-out" to Gen, one of the lab technicians, who was especially personable and professional during my last visit to the blood bank.
