Called on a Friday morning to explain the pain I was in and they gave me an appointment for 2 months later. Said they would give the message to the dr and I am still waiting 4 days later.. I do like the dr there but I’m wondering if the staff is even giving her the messages
I can't even begin to explain how horrible this practice is. Please avoid if you value yourself as a person. Once they get your money for colonoscopy, they never call back. I'm still in pain, and had findings in my colonoscopy they never discussed. Their staff is extremely rude, they talk about personal medical history out loud to the entire waiting room. They ask for a surcharge for your payments, which is practically a scam. Why am I paying a surcharge on my HSA?? Or any payment type?? Appointments take forever to book, on... read more
Without a doubt the worst experience I've ever encountered with a professional medical doctor and staff. My 91 year old mother has been seen for over a year by Dr. Bierhoff. First he "assumes" IBS and prescribes a very expensive drug that made her condition worse. I made several attempts to have him contact me about this and I never received a return call. Had colonoscopy from Dr Bierhoff at Abington Surgical Center. 2 weeks later I experience significant bleeding during bowel movement (Sunday). I call and speak to after-hours Dr. Told me to go to emergency room if continues or gets worse. Stayed about same or maybe a little better on Monday. Called two times over 7 hours to speak with doctor, starting at 8am. At 11 called and asked to expedite call back. At 3 was told Dr is out of office and could I wait til Wednesday.
