I was recently at north springs hospital and it was, truly, the worst place I have ever been to. There was kids running up and down the halls punching the walls in front of you and kids being put in restraints and they would come out with bruises. Then, the fact that’s there’s no therapist on the weekends—like it’s a mental health facility—and there is one doctor for the whole facility and he literally sucks to he doesn’t know what he’s talking about and even half the staff hates each other. Worst experience of my life. The staff was rude and would constantly yell at patients. According to them, not being able to sleep at night isn't a big deal and water isn't a basic need. The biggest memories I have from there are all very negative, invalidating me and my feelings, not wanting to even give us water, teaching us nothing when we were supposed to be having group therapy sessions.
