They changed the water bill, so instead of paying what you use you pay for how many people live there. Considering the proximity to the military base, this is definitely preying on military members who go on underways and deployments but have to pay for the water they don't use anyways. Management changes a lot. Last manager quit I'm assuming, she always seemed really annoyed and exhausted. Also the floorboards are horrendous. overall north shore gardens is a pleasant apartment complex. There are various issues, but the quality of life is nice for Norfolk. Unless you work a salary job, I would not recommend living here. The rent is ridiculously high for the area (my 1 bed 1 bath is 1300$ without utilities). The pet fee for one animal was a 350$ non refundable deposit. I stayed there a year and a half around Covid Bill is the complete worst looking in and out of your apartment very unprofessional literally had to avoid him by just waiting till they left around 4 just to not fill watched they smoked cigarettes in the back of my apartment and was being a complete pepping Tom!! He so sassy to DO NOT MOVE HERE !!! They’re deleting all the bad reviews
