I recently had brand-new garage doors installed by North Shore Garage Doors, and I couldnt be happier with the experience! From start to finish, their customer service was absolutely amazing. The team was incredibly responsive, answering all of my questions and walking me through the entire process with professionalism and patience.
My experience with North Shore Garage Doors was excellent. ****, the tech assigned to my job, was terrific. He was knowledgeable, efficient, and a great communicator. He explained everything very well and at a pace that was perfect for mean overall very nice guy! Office staff ***** ****** and a few others who confirmed appointments, sent requested estimates, etc., were also very helpful. I prefer to have work done in my home by solid, local companies, and NS Garage Doors is certainly one. Highly recommend!
North Shore Garage Doors completed the replacement of our garage door this evening. They did a fine job. Everything fits and operates smoothly. Their installer was friendly and answered all my questions. Each step of the process from requesting a quote to completion of the work was smooth. Yesterday afternoon I had to call and ask to reschedule, either to late afternoon today or another day. They were pleasant and accommodating. I would use them again.
The reviews on BBB basically are my story too. I bought 3 doors and 3 Liftmaster garage door openers several years ago from West Suburban Garage Doors. Had no issues with the original install. One of the garage door openers broke and the code was for a motor issue. Called West Garage door- tech came out and confirmed motor issue which has a lifetime warranty. I visited the BBB website in search of a garage door repair company in my area. I called Garage Door Group Chicago, this is their name on the BBB website but they identified themselves as West Suburban Garage Doors. This is one of their many business names I later learned. I spoke with ****** ******** who stated that he was the owner. I asked him if they repaired garage doors and he said they did. We are reputable company with four locations. We are growing and serving our customers well. We did not approve the panel option because my Technician could not guarantee the new panel would not fit properly on the old door. We offered a brand new door at $1000 - usually priced at $1300.00. If you need new garage doors, I STRONGLY suggest you contact North Shore Garage Doors! After my pipes burst in this winter's extreme cold, I decided to change out my old wooden garage doors for updated, insulated ones, and proceeded to get several bids. Not only was North Shore's price the best, but I can't imagine better service. There passing along used materials and charging full price for them coupled with poor installation resulting in calling another company leads me to filing this complaint. I also requested a call from them without a response. They state that there is a warranty but when you ask for them to come they state that there will be a charge. All the problems started to occur 3 days after the install.
