Staff very friendly and helpful.
Very efficient, thorough, & friendly. Love this place. Highly recommend.
I can't say enough about Dr. Barnes and all the staff at North River. She gave us 6 more years with Lucy our mutt. She was gaining weight and it was a tumor. When we took her in for the operation I had already said my goodbyes. Dr Barnes removed the 8.25 tumor and Lucy's spleen and she lived to almost sweet 16. It was 11 years ago this October. Thank you Dr. Barnes and North River.
My first encounter with this vet was in July 2018....at that time I was so impressed, that when Molly became sick this weekend, they immediately got us in. Turned out she has a bad bladder infection. I’m so impressed with all who work here, from the reception desk, to everyone you encounter. They take time to explain all tests, course of treatment, to follow up care. Yes, I drive from Chesterfield, it’s worth the drive. Yesterday while in the waiting room, I met a girl and her fur baby, who traveled from Berkley. Thank you f... read more
The kind, caring professionalism of the staff. I have taken all of my pets to North River Animal Hospital since 1975 and I have never been disappointed. They have been there through the good times,, the sad times and always have treated me and my pets with dignity, compassion and respect.
I had a great experience! I took my baby there to get spayed. (I’m a crazy helicopter mom and was very nervous for it to happen) Dr.Darling was fantastic! She called me immediately after to tell me how she had done. When I arrived to pick her up they went through everything I’d need to take care of and look out for. When they handed Darcy back to me they warned me she may be very nauseated from the anesthesia. The second I turned my car on she threw up everywhere. I ran back in to ask if they’d give her some anti nausea medi... read more
They take great care of my three dogs and the dogs love to visit!
You have an ultrasound? And never used it on Luna's abdomen...
Not Pleased with this hospital ... the lack of work up on sick animals saddens me ... not suggesting X rays or ultrasound on vomiting pets??? ( vomiting over a year) this is beyond my understanding.. I would have thought it would be one of the first thing to be done sure blood work can show a lot but not everything ...for example cancer or other masses repeated blood work and several exams becomes very costly along with many medications that wernt needed if only a ultra sound would have been done from the beginning ............ read more
