Perfectly good waiting room in the ER, empty, and what it was built for - but no, would rather have patients and family members of ER patients wait outside in the cold. And then only admit 1 person with the patient.

Brought my grandmother for a procedure and it was the worst experience!!! They scheduled her to check in at 5:45am but when we show up(Early). She isn’t going to be let in Until 8 am. They have us going back and forth from memorial to the outpatient pavilion 4 + times. Stating in radiology she’s not in the system etc etc. It’s absolutely ridiculous. I am very thankful for the care I received in the emergency room. I was diagnosed very quickly. Had a 5 night stay. The care I recevied from my nurses was top notch. The nurse assistances were also helpful. Even the food was good. My Doctor A was the best in taking care of my medical needs. I would recommend care at Sharp Grossmont Hospital.

Everyone has different answers. Not cool to mess with people and not be honest. How can you trust a medical faculty when they LIE!!! They tell you one things and then it all changes. Ask question and be your own advocate!!

After a traumatic day I took myself into the er due to a neck and head injury . I was anxious and in pain. The staff were friendly and very helpful. But when I was being discharged they told me where to get my medicine (for pain&anxiety)I asked if that pharmacy was open they told me it’s open the next morning.which wasn’t a big deal they gave me medicine for the evening , but Turns out the pharmacy is closed on weekends. So I’m in pain and anxious even more 😞 I think knowing which pharmacy is open on weekends can help .
