I have been going to North Hills Family Medical Center for 30+ years. I tried to refill a prescription and they said they’d contact my doctor. Imagine my surprise when I went to check and see if it was ready and it said, Denied the doctor said you are no longer a patient! Can you get fired by your doctor? I called the office and was put on hold for a while and then they said they’d call me back. Apparently, you CAN get fired by your doctor! A while ago, I went in because I was experiencing fatigue. I did not have trouble sleeping, I was exercising, I didn't eat bad. I didn't understand why, maybe my PCP would know. After that appointment, nothing changed. I left still not understanding why. I stopped coming for a long time. I ended up coming back because I wanted a referral to see a specialist. Terrible service had all information and they still were not able to help me. Then need more training remember, everything starts with the first people in the front counter.
Scheduled an appointment with the front desk, showed up and the front desk people said, "Oh we don't do that here"...even though I had explained exactly what I needed. I understand the low star rating at this place.
Dr Chris Cobb is the best! He's been my doctor for a few years now and is always so down to earth and personable.
