Our puppy was kept over night & we were charged $750 for her to be discharged with a diagnosis of “fever of unknown origin” less than 12 hours later we were back at an emergency veterinary hospital (NOT NGVS) because we followed our gut & went to a different Emergency clinic! Thank god we did. We now have a REAL DIAGNOSIS of pneumonia on this pitiful 18 week old puppy who has a Temperature of 104.5!
RecommendedWe took our 15-year-old cat to see Dr. Neff for a consultation on treatment options for arthritis. Our beloved old girl has a long issue of varied medical issues. Dr. Neff was very knowledgeable and after an examination, she explained to us what treatments would be best for our cat and why. My beloved Vizsla, Keeah, is 12years old. She was diagnosed in May with transitional cell carcinoma or bladder cancer. I saw the internal medicine specialist at North Georgia Veterinary Specialists who is a wonderful vet & spent the greater than $700 to have the urine test that is now available to confirm what we already pretty much new. NGVS saved my Goldendoodle after he was bit by a copperhead multiple times on his left front paw. I was hysterical 😩 they were very calm and assured me they would take great care of him. He stayed over night, got the recommended treatment, and was able to go home the next evening. I will be forever great full for quick care of my service dog.
Our dog was bitten in the face by a copperhead (twice) and when we called our nearest emergency vet they said they had too many emergencies and suggested driving the extra 15 minutes here. They were all wonderful and took great care of Tramp. We paid the low end of the estimate and when we came to pick him up today we were even pleasantly surprised to receive a small refund. Everyone was really kind. Hope never to have to return but good to know there are options out there.
I sure wish there was a service like this available in the Covington, GA area. It is very much needed here.
Just want to give a shout out to NGVS for being there in the wee hours of the morning when our sweet baby girl was having cluster seizures. They examined her, asked permission before inserting a catheter, and then gave a least restrictive treatment plan with the option to leave her or take her home (and to our own vet the next day). They were a HUGE comfort during this trying time and provided OUTSTANDING care & treatment!! 5 🐾 s for NGVS!!! 🐶 ❤️
