This lawnmower shop has always been very fair in pricing and timely in getting my equipment repaired. Some may think that the guy behind the counter is a little rough around the edges, but I think his candid honesty is refreshing. I don't feel like I'm going to be taken advantage of here. As for the reviewer that gave a poor rating, perhaps you should have asked them to take a look at your machine to make sure all was ok rather than telling them you only wanted 2 things done to it. I've found North County Lawnmower to have very reasonable and honest mechanic services. I trust my garden equipment will get repaired correctly, or they will let me know if it's not worth the cost of repairing in advance. Sometimes not what I want to hear, but nice to know before a huge repair bill.
We had this shop replace pull cord and sharpen blade. We got it home and it would not start. They did not even try to start it. Then when I called, the person got belligerent and arumentative about it, telling me that I should have told them to check the engine. A good shop would at least check that it starts! This business does not care about keeping customers!
